Hey to all you gardeners out there! It is Spring, Yeah! That means it is time to get busy and start gardening.
I love this time of year. Everything is so fresh and new. It is like the dead coming to life. The old, bare branches stretch their gnarled arms to the sky as new buds appear and then burst forth into color. Oh, what glorious color paints the trees in whites, pinks, and gorgeous yellows. The drab grays of winter give way to the dancing colors of Spring.
Yes! I love this time of year. One of the first things I love to do is to wander through the yard searching the ground to see what wonderous things are coming back to life again. So many wonderful things popping up all over the place. Tulips, Crocuses, Hyacinths, lilies, daffodils, and so many others. It makes me so happy.
There is one thing, I am not to fond of is the weeds. How do those things survive the winter. They are tough little things. Regardless, they are there every year and one has to get out there and get the soil ready. Then, the fun can begin. So, here we go next time I’ll be ready to talk about garden design and getting everything placed where you want them. Until then, happy weeding.
